Bathurst Autofest returns to the iconic Mount Panorama in 2027 for three massive days of horsepower, burnouts, racing action, elite show cars, and unforgettable atmosphere. Whether you're competing or spectating, this is one of Australia's biggest and most exciting automotive festivals.
From tyre frying burnouts to high speed Super Sprints on one of the most famous circuits in the world, Bathurst Autofest delivers non-stop action for car lovers of all ages.
What to expect in 2027
Following another huge year at Mount Panorama, Bathurst Autofest 2027 is gearing up to be bigger and better than ever!
Since it's inception in 2004, Bathurst Autofest has grown into one of Australia's premier Motorsport events, attracting entrants and spectators from right across the country. Expect an action packed weekend featuring:
- Tyre-frying burnouts
- High-speed Super Sprints on the legendary circuit
- Side-by-side Go to Whoa racing down pit straight
- Elite Show n Shine with Australia's finest street machines, hot rods, and customs
- Top 32 Shootout, Grab a Flag, Autokana, and more
- The hunt for Grand Champion, where only the toughest all-rounder takes the crown
With camping on-site, heaps of trade stalls, food vendors, and entertainment for the whole family, it's more than just a car event - it's a full weekend experience.
New for Bathurst Autofest 2027 - Invitational Burnout Entrants
Bathurst Autofest is raising the bar in 2027 with the introduction of Invitational Burnout Entrants!
For the first time ever, 20 burnout entrants will be selected as Invitational Burnout Entrants, hand-picked by the Autofest Organisers & Crew to form part of an elite invitational lineup at Mount Panorama.
These invitational spots will showcase a selection of standout cars from across the scene including crowd favourites, elite builds and proven performers that contribute to the overall entertainment and presentation of the event.
The remaining 100 burnout spots will still be allocated on a first in, best dressed basis, giving entrants the same opportunity to secure their place in the competition.
Selected Invitational Burnout Entrants will receive a private email from our team so keep your eyes peeled.
